This piece can be purchased ensuite with the matching chest on chest, or sold separately. Like its mate, it is an elegant pastiche of earlier design styles and was manufactured in the 1930s by the West End furniture company of Rockford Illinois. The central drawers feature a beautiful burl veneer inset with a contrasting cartouche. This decorative detail is formed by applied wood S-scrolls and a bellflower motif. Vintage condition; several minor areas of loss.
