Saco + Nova was founded when two design devotees discovered they shared an equal enthusiasm for all things décor! In what can only be described as serendipity, Los Angeles based fine and decorative art historian Noelle Valentino was introduced to photographer and Hollywood set-designer Sara Jane Colgin. Not long after this initial meeting of the minds, Saco + Nova was launched!
Complementary professional backgrounds allow us to collaborate in the selection and curation of unique vintage furnishings and antique accents. Based in Los Angeles, an unequivocal hub for art and design, Saco + Nova’s scope has come to include sourcing missions in destinations as distinct as Houston, Texas and Strasbourg, France. The result is an eclectic selection of products united by quality, but exceedingly diverse in style.
We pride ourselves on the ability to enhance our customers’ homes with exclusive vintage touches. Learn more about our nationwide delivery options and please reach out with any questions about our services.
Noelle Valentino, Founder
I'm an independent art dealer with particular expertise in furniture and home decor. Before founding Saco + Nova, I worked in research and education at institutions including the Getty Museum, Christie's auction house and the Smithsonian. Whether it's architecture, art or design, I delight in it all, but antique furniture is my greatest passion. I adore not just tables and chairs but also sconces, scagliola and everything in between. Saco + Nova allows me to share my choicest vintage finds with you!
Sara Jane Colgin, Co-Founder
With an extensive background in photography and an eye for design, I've spent the last 8 years as a set decorator and prop stylist for network television. Along the way, I've traveled as far as Thailand, Spain, Belize, and the Amalfi Coast, seeking local props and decor, collecting textiles, as well as acquiring unique pieces for my personal collection. My design philosophy integrates pieces from various time periods and differing styles in a contemporary setting. I love good music, good wine, and my hound Ruby who's face reads constant disappointment. I spend most of my days trying to convince her otherwise.
